Hearts fans line the street as funeral cortege of supporter Frank 'Shaky' Walker passes Tynecastle

Hearts fans lined the street to pay tribute to much-loved Jambo Frank 'Shaky' Walker as his funeral cortege passed Tynecastle earlier today.

Photos show dozens of people out applauding as the funeral of the treasured, and well-known supporter passed the stadium on Wednesday. Scarves, flowers and football tops were also left outside the stadium by those keen to pay their respects.

Hearts shared their own tribute on Twitter, posting: "A great turn out at Tynecastle this morning as Frank 'Shaky' Walker's funeral cortege passed the stadium.

"Forever in our Hearts."

Frank passed away last month with scores of fans sharing their own tributes on social media.

He was loved among fans of the club for being a larger-than-life character on the terraces, and for turning up to games in his famous animal-print onesies.

It was reported by the Daily Record that he passed away the day after leaving hospital following a health scare.
