Hearts have discovered their Premier Sports Cup group stage opponents.
Robbie Neilson's side are among the clubs set for an early start this summer as the competition returns under new branding.
The traditional League Cup, renamed from the Betfred Cup, will kick off on the weekend of July 10 and precede the Jambos' return to the Premiership.
And Hearts have been handed ties against Inverness Caley Thistle, Peterhead, Cove Rangers and Stirling Albion.
The draw is regionalised between north and south with each group consisting of a top seed, second seed and three unseeded sides.
Hearts were named as top seeds and were drawn in Group A in the northern section.
The teams who finished in the top six of last season's Scottish Premiership will enter at the last 16 stage later in the year, where the format reverts to a straight knockout.
Oddly, Edinburgh City were placed into the southern section and have been drawn with Hamilton, Ayr United, Falkirk and Albion Rovers.
Elsewhere in the northern section, Livingston were drawn alongside Raith Rovers, Alloa, Cowdenbeath and Brechin City.
