Aaron Hickey is among four names shortlisted for the Scottish Football Writers' Association Young Player of the Year award.
The 17-year-old's form was a rare positive in an otherwise disappointing season for Hearts.
Hickey has been nominated alongside Ali McCann of St Johnstone, Lewis Ferguson of Aberdeen and Motherwell's Allan Campbell.
The defender made his debut for the Jambos against Aberdeen at Pittodrie in May 2019, and his first goal for the club came in a 2-1 win over Hibs at Easter Road in September.

Meanwhile, the departures of Craig Levein and Austin MacPhee from Tynecastle have today been confirmed.
Also leaving the club are Oliver Bozanic, Steven MacLean, Donis Avdijaj, Daniel Baur, Alex Petkov, Kelby Mason, Dean Ritchie, Rory Currie, Brodie Strang and Jay Nwanze, with their contracts having run out.
Ryotaro Meshino, Joel Pereira and Toby Sibbick will return to their respective parent clubs when their loan deals end.
Addressing Levein's departure, owner Ann Budge said: "Throughout the club, Craig has been very important to me and both him and Austin have contributed.
"I would absolutely say that, all day long. It was very, very sad the way it ended for both of them."
