There will be no Hearts fans at Parkhead for the Gorgie side's Premier Sports Cup tie against Celtic on Sunday - despite games in Glasgow being given the go ahead for a full house.
The Jambos have made a strong start to their league campaign with Robbie Neilson's men breezing through the group stage of the competition before a sensational home win against Ange Postecoglou's side in their Scottish Premiership opener.
They followed that up with another league victory against St Mirren and fans would have been up for a trip down the M8 to take on the Hoops.
But an update from Celtic confirmed that no away allocation is possible due to social distancing requirements among players.
The Hearts Twitter account posted: "Celtic have confirmed that no tickets will be issued to away supporters this Sunday.
"This is due to the need for sections of the stadium to remain sterile in order to maintain a Red Zone, resulting in affected home supporters being moved to other areas of the ground."
That will also be the case when Parkhead posts its first capacity attendance figure on Thursday evening since the pandemic as Czech cracks Jablonec come to town.
The Europa League qualifier second leg will be packed to the rafters – apart from the Main Stand, which is being used for substitutes and club personnel.
