Hearts close in on two attacking players as summer recruitment ramps up

Hearts are closing in on deals for two forward players - Calvin Miller and Amadou Ba-Sy.

Derek McInnes had made Falkirk winger Miller a key target after an impressive season in which he contributed the most assists in the Premiership, after hitting double figure goals in League One then the Championship.

A six-figure fee has now been agreed between the two clubs and the deal will go through barring any hitches.

While their pursuit of FC Rouen striker Ba-Sy is also progressing. A deal for the 24-year-old is close to being finalised, reports Hearts Standard.

Another player from the French third tier, Versailles midfielder Tom Renaud, is believed to have signed a pre-contract but is yet to be announced, while St Johnstone wingr Josh McPake and Lincoln City defender MJ Kamson-Kamara are on their way.

Hearts are expected to press one with more signings but have seen offers rejected for York City centre-back Malachi Fagan-Walcott and will weigh up their next move.

Lawrence Shankland last week moved to Rangers and midfielder Cammy Devlin is considering offers from Hearts and MLS sides.
