Hearts are set to celebrate their Championship title with a trophy day on the weekend of the Scottish Cup quarter finals - if Inverness are knocked out by St Mirren this Saturday.
The Jambos are in talks with SPFL chiefs over the finer details of the presentation which will go ahead in an empty Tynecastle due to ongoing covid restrictions.
Inverness are scheduled to visit a week on Saturday for Hearts’ final home game of the season.
But if the Highlanders shock St Mirren in this week’s Scottish Cup fourth round clash in Paisley they will be in quarter final action on the 24th meaning the Hearts fixture will be moved to midweek.
Either way the Jambos are liaising with league bosses over plans for the presentation on the day they face former Jambos star Neil McCann’s Caley Jags.
Record Sport understands the BBC - who have already had their allotted two live games at Tynecastle this season - and Sky are keen on broadcasting the post-match celebrations.
The Gorgie club are currently liaising with SPFL chiefs over what the presentation will involve.

Robbie Neilson’s side sealed their Premiership return after thrashing Alloa 6-0 on Friday night while nearest challengers Raith and Dundee could only draw with Arbroath and Morton respectively.
They now face a trip to Morton on Tuesday before finishing their campaign at home to Inverness and away to Raith Rovers.
