Hearts manager Robbie Neilson has been named Championship manager of the month for December.
Neilson's Jambos had been favourites for the league title since day one and they closed out 2020 with a bang.
They sit five points clear of Dunfermline at the top of the second tier after a December that saw them pick up four league wins on the spin.
Hearts started the month with a 2-0 win over Morton before warming up for their Scottish Cup date with destiny by putting six goals past Queen of the South.
They picked up a turbulent 5-3 win over playoff-chasing Ayr, before a comfortable victory over Arbroath rounded off an impressive month.
Dundee manager James McPake might have been under consideration for the award after his side went undefeated to assert their own promotion credentials.
But ultimately it was Neilson's undefeated record that won out as he has been granted the manager of the month gong.
Hearts started 2021 in ropey fashion, however, going down 3-1 to the resurgent Dee.
They'll look to bounce back with a trip to Alloa this weekend before their league and Scottish Cup double header with free-scoring Raith Rovers.
