Hearts assure fans Scottish Cup final online ticket issues have been resolved

Hearts have confirmed that the issues supporters faced when trying to purchase Scottish Cup final tickets this morning have now been resolved.

Supporters with 20 loyalty points or more could log on from 9am this morning to purchase their briefs for next month’s Hampden showdown with Celtic.

However, fans found that only concession tickets – children and OAPs – could be purchased, and found themselves being timed out of transactions.

The club attributed the problems to technical difficulties suffered by online ticketing retailer Ticketmaster.

The Jambos take on Neil Lennon’s men on 25 May as they seek to win the famous old trophy for the first time since 2012.

To do so, they will need to prevent the champions winning an unprecedented treble treble after winning every domestic trophy available since 2016/17.
