Hearts announce Scottish Cup victory parade plans if Celtic are beaten

Hearts have announced their Scottish Cup party plans if they take down Celtic .

Should Craig Levein ’s side deny the Hoops the treble Treble at Hampden on Saturday the Jambos team bus will return to Tynecastle Park with the trophy in tow that evening.

But the official celebrations will begin on Sunday, with a civic reception at Edinburgh City Chambers prior to the traditional open-top bus tour.

The procession will follow a similar route to their previous triumphs in 1998, 2006 and 2012, journeying from the Royal Mile to Tynecastle via The Mound, Princes Street, Shandwick Place, Torphichen Street, Morrison Street, Haymarket, Dalry Road and Gorgie Road.

Hearts will throw open the doors of Tynecastle from 230pm for supporters to hail their heroes, with the turnstiles closing no later than 3.15pm.

The squad are due to take to the field at around 4.40pm.
