Hearts and Partick Thistle's dispute with the SPFL will be arbitrated by the Scottish FA and won't go through court.
Lord Clark made his ruling at Edinburgh's Court of Session at around 2pm this afternoon.
Hearts and Partick want relegations to be scrapped and, failing this, a combined £10million in compensation. £8million of this would go to Hearts and £2million to the Jags. David Thomson QC, arguing on behalf of the clubs, said the issue should be heard in the courts.

However lawyers representing the SPFL and promoted clubs Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers said it should be arbitrated by the Scottish FA.
And Lord Clark announced his verdict after three days of proceedings earlier this afternoon. It will now be up to the SFA to appoint a tribunal panel.
A spokesman for the SPFL said: “We welcome today's decision at the Court of Session that this case should be dealt with under the Scottish FA’s arbitration process. We will now prepare for the Scottish FA arbitration.”
