His helmet insignia, which was mounted on a commemorative plaque, was stolen in a burglary from motorcycle accessories firm MCC on the Fieldhouse Industrial Estate on December 2, 2021, at around 4.30pm, alongside a number of other items.

Beki who runs the company with partner Mark Matthews, said: "The plaque is hugely sentimental to our family and dad was very proud of it.

"Dad was Corporal of Horse in the Blues and Royals division of the Household Cavalry and wore the helmet for the Queen's Coronation - we would dearly like to get the plaque back.

"It was presented to him before I was born and has hung on the wall for as long as I can remember so we would dearly like to get it back."
