Heartbroken Stirling family's plea to track down missing dog Alfie

A worried Stirling family are appealing to the public for information about their missing dog.

Black cocker spaniel Alfie disappeared from his Top of the Town home last Sunday afternoon, November 7.

The Kerrs of Upper Bridge Street – mum Jane, dad Ian and children Evie and Walter – are urging anyone who has seen Alfie or who has information to get in touch.

Jane said this week that Alfie, who has been chipped, has never gone missing before.

She added: “Alfie is a very lively and friendly three-year-old.

“He has got quite a few distinctive features. He has a bend in his tail and long eyelashes. He’s also a fairly small size for his breed.

“He was also wearing a Hallowe’en bandana at the time he went missing.

“We’re all really worried. He had escaped from the house. Our front garden is not enclosed.

“It’s’ been awful. You wonder if he’s hurt – or if he’s been stolen and being badly treated.

“All these things go through your mind.

“If we knew he was ok that would be something.”

The family said they have informed the police and Stirling dog warden.

Jane added: “Ian also went out to Bandeath on the off chance Alfie was there, but sadly he wasn’t.

“We all really just want to see him back home.”
