A Scots mum tragically suffered a double heartache after her dad died just seven days after she lost her 12-year-old daughter to an asthma attack.
Grief-stricken Tracy Bulpitt lost her father Robert Speirs, 71, just a week after the tragic death of her "precious angel" Katy.
Tracy, from Cumbernauld, posted the devastating news on social media on Tuesday, November 9, stating: "It's with deep regret that I have to sadly announce the passing of my dad this evening.
"May he rest in peace safe in the arms of our Lord."
The news followed the loss of daughter Katy who tragically died following a devastating asthma attack.
Loved ones have said the world is a 'darker place' without her smile.
The mother of six later requested that mourners wear pink or purple at Katy's funeral in tribute to the much-loved Our Lady's High School's pupil.
A GoFundMe page was launched to raise funds to cover costs and to help her family out over Christmas.
It has so far raised more than £11,000.
