Heartbroken partner of murdered dad recalls horrific moment 5 bullies beat him to death

A devastated fiancée spoke out on the murder of her partner who was allegedly beaten to death by five bullies.

Tracy Karopchinsky recounted the harrowing details leading to the demise of her beloved partner, Christopher Wright.

The 43-year-old dad reportedly lost his life protecting his 14-year-old son from a brutal assault on their very doorstep at their home in Brooklyn, a neighbourhood in Baltimore, Maryland.

She described how Trenton, their teenage son, a student at Brooklyn Park Middle School, found himself embroiled in a clash with another teenager last Friday.

The altercation spilt over to their home, where a group of three teenagers and two adults relentlessly chased after the young boy.

Mr Wright, a stay-at-home dad walked out to confront the group and defend his son and found himself caught up in the deadly brawl.

The devastating loss left Ms Karopchinsky, his grief-stricken fiancée, grappling with an inconsolable pain.

She told the Mail: "My child went to school on Friday. Throughout the day, there were fights, in the bathroom and after school. He came home and told his older brother what had been going on throughout the day."

Tracy continued detailing the fateful encounter that transpired on their doorstep. "During that, there were people outside talking. And it was the same kids. Three boys from his school, and two adults," she said.

"His father went outside and said, 'he's not coming out here,'" Tracy shared. "If he doesn't come out, then we're going in to get him," they threatened.

Unfazed, Christopher declared, "Nobody's coming into my house." Tracy tearfully recalled, "And that's when it started. They started fighting in the yard, for not very long, and it ended with him in the street."

As his 12-year-old son helplessly looked on, his father's head was repeatedly slammed against the unyielding concrete outside their residence.

Christopher was swiftly rushed to a trauma centre, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead the next day.

The widow said that the consequences of the fight have not only affected their lives but also the lives of the other individuals involved.

She said she believed that parents have a responsibility to address these issues rather than relying solely on the school.

The mourning family will hold a vigil in memory of Mr Wright on June 11.
