Orlando Bloom shared a distressing message with fans to reveal his beloved pet dog has gone missing.
The 43-year-old Lord of the Rings star has asked for public support in his search to find his adorable labradoodle dog, Mighty, who he shares with fiancée, Katy Perry.
Taking to social media on Wednesday, Orlando revealed where his dog had gone missing and gave tips to how to help identify the pooch.
He also offered a reward to anyone who returned the animal to him – as he made a desperate appeal for help via Instagram.
Orlando wrote: “MIGHTY IS MISSING” surrounded by red flashing light emojis as he made his appeal.
He explained the pup had disappeared: “in Montecito California” which is a town near the Pacific coast near Santa Barbara, in the USA.
He continued: “[Mighty] is chipped and his collar has a number to call.
“If you take him to your local vet or shelter or police station he can be traced back to me for a reward.”
He added: “please only send REAL INFO my heart is already broken so please don’t add insult to injury.”
Orlando shared a string of photos of the dog which has short, sandy coloured, fluffy hair and teddy-bear like round eyes.
Fans rushed to offer support and sympathy to the Hollywood actor.
One follower wrote: “i’m so upset for you I really hope he is found soon as possible my prayers and love are with you and the little beautiful doggie.”
While another wrote: "hoping he comes home safe."
