Family and friends of a 12-year-old girl who "took her own life" were told her "suffering and sadness" is now over.
Mourners came together to say their final farewells to Semina Halliwell at St Patrick's Church in Marshside, Southport, yesterday (Friday).
Semina died on June 11 after four days in hospital.

Her mum, Rachel Halliwell, claims her daughter took her own life.
A police investigation is ongoing and no cause of death has been confirmed.
Hundreds of people attended the funeral, with many watching from the church grounds where there were screens and a speaker.

Reverend John Heneghan told mourners: "Semina is risen.
"She has died but she is risen. Death is past tense, resurrection is the eternal present.
"For Semina, there is no more suffering, no more sadness, just eternal bliss."
Rachel has thanked the Southport community for their love and support.
Posting on Facebook she wrote: "I would like to thank every person who has sent flowers, gifts etc.
"I would especially like to thank the community of Southport. Your love and support has carried me through this unbelievable, heart-breaking time In my life.
"The people of Southport have made Semina proud. You are all amazing.
"We will say goodbye to Semina but it's not the end as I will fight for justice for her.

"I will spend the rest of my life fighting till I get her justice and keep her memory alive."
Rachel previously told the ECHO Semina had had an extremely difficult year.
She said: "After having her innocence taken, Semina was bullied online on a daily basis. She couldn't take it any more."
Semina's tragic case was raised at a parliamentary committee last month, when Labour MP Apsana Begum asked Education Secretary Gavin Williamson what more can be done to help protect children from sexual harassment and abuse.
Ms Begum said: "I wanted to highlight the case of Semina who was 12 years old who disclosed that she'd been raped, and has committed suicide last week."
Merseyside Police confirmed a rape had been reported.
Their spokesman said: "We are investigating an allegation of rape in Southport in February this year.
"A report was received on 23 March that a 12-year-old girl had been raped at an address in Southport on 25 February.
"An investigation was launched and a juvenile has voluntarily attended a police station for interview.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
"Anyone who wants to report a rape or sexual offence allegation is asked to call 101 where you will be spoken to by specially trained officers, or you can pass information to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
