An Irish mother is pleading with robbers to return the bracelet of her baby son who passed away at six weeks old.

Grace Russell, from Drogheda in Co Louth, said it was one of several times taken in a robbery.

Her son Jordan passed away from cot death at six weeks old.

The bracelet has the name Jordan and his birthday on the back, 25/05/1997.

She had kept the treasured possession in her room.

The heartbroken mum thought of the bracelet first when she found out that her house had been robbed on Monday, October 19th.

Grace said: 'Please just drop the bracelet at my front door. That's all I want.

She told the Drogheda Independent: 'My baby's bracelet is worth nothing to somebody else, but it means everything to me."

Grace explained in a Facebook post: They stole very precious and sentimental jewellery belonging to my son who died.

"It was a gold bracelet with jordan inscribed on the front and his date of birth on the back 25-05-1997, and another bracelet with Anthony inscribed on the front of it and rings."

The bracelet was kept in a holder and that was left there but the bracelet was gone.

Among the other items taken were jewellery

The back window of her home was smashed and doors were burst open.

Grace paid a visit to all the cash for gold shops she could to ask them to keep an eye for her possessions especially her late son Jordan's bracelet.

Gardai went to the scene and carried out a forensic examination.
