Heartbroken East Kilbride pet owner looking for information to trace missing cat

A heartbroken pet owner is desperate to be reunited with his missing cat after it disappeared from his Westwood flat.

Adam Shaw took in the black moggy, Bonnie, after his mum sadly passed away over a year ago.

He last saw the indoor cat last Wednesday, June 3, in his flat in White Horse Walk.

Initially Adam feared he may have injured himself jumping from the second floor-window and tried local vets to no avail.

Now he is appealing for the publics help to try and trace her.

Missing cat Bonnie (EKN)

Adam told the East Kilbride News: "I have tried everything but I haven't been able to find him.

"He belonged to my mum and I promised her I would look after him so it is really upsetting - he is one of my last links to her.

"He has never even tried to jump up to a window before otherwise I would have never left even the one open. It was just because of the hot weather.

"It's definitely not like him to be away any length of time and I am just hoping that maybe someone who is self-isolating has taken him in."

Bonnie is not micro-chipped and is very timid and not streetwise.

Any information regarding Bonnie would be much appreciated by Adam who can be contacted on 07742759181.
