Heartbroken daughter of murdered Bobby Ryan believes killer Patrick Quirke did not act alone

The heartbroken daughter of murdered Bobby Ryan says she believes killer Patrick Quirke did not act alone.

On Wednesday, scheming Quirke was found guilty of the murder of the popular DJ, after the longest murder trial in the history of the State.

Michelle Ryan says she is now seeking her father's phone records in a quest to bring others to justice.

She told The Irish Daily Star: "I do believe there is more than one behind it."

Michelle added that her father's phone is "crucial".

She said: "I asked day in day out to the Guards, do you have the phone records and I even got on to Vodafone to see did they have them.

Killer Patrick Quirke will not be allowed to wear signature flat cap in prison

"At that time my father was still just a missing person and they told me he could walk back in the door and he could sue us for giving you information.

"I was awfully keen to see if messages show up in the trial but they didn't."

And speaking about evil Quirke, Michelle said: "At the end of the day this man ripped our world asunder. He absolutely ripped it asunder."

However, she added that she was not allowing hate for Quirke to "consume" her.

She said: "I don't feel we should allow ourselves to owe that man so much as hate. That means we will be carrying a portion of him.

Bobby Ryan's daughter says she is haunted by the image of her dad's body lying in concrete pit

"It's very strange because we hate him. But we're never going to allow ourselves to let that take hold of us."

Michelle also revealed that she had always been drawn towards Mary Lowry's farmland at Fawnagown, Co Tipperary, before her father's body was found and had met Quirke once there.

She said: "I met him once on Mary Lowry's land. He was a cold person. I would at that time have gone to Mary Lowry's on a regular basis.

"I don't know why I kept going back there. Something was drawing me back there the whole time. I have no explanation for that."
