The heartbroken dad of Azzam Raguragui who died following a stabbing described the tragic teen as “a good son”.
The 18-year-old was walking home from evening prayers at a local mosque on Friday evening when he was knifed in the chest by a gang of youths at Finsbury Park, Dundrum, Dublin.
Grieving dad Abdurrahman Raguragui led the prayers at Clonskeagh Mosque in an “emotional” tribute to Azzam on Saturday night.
Mosque spokesperson Dr Ali Selim said: “It was a very emotional tribute. The father paid tribute to his son.
“He described him as a good son who was very polite, very decent and who never raised his voice.”

Dr Selim added that Azzam died on Friday which was “the most special Muslim days” and during the holy month of Ramadan.
He told the Irish Sun: “The father prayed he would be accepted into paradise. It was very emotional, it was very moving.”
Gardai have now launched a murder investigation and are seeking public help in finding Azzam's killers.
Three different crime scenes have been preserved in the area around Finsbury Park.

Azzam, known locally to his pals as 'Azzi', was a popular young man in the Dundrum area.
Dundrum-based Rosemount Mulvey held a minute's silence before their last game of the season on Saturday.
The club have just won their second successive league and cup double, which they dedicated to young Azzam.
