Heartbroken Celtic diehard waves the white flag before Jason Cundy adds to his misery with Rangers reminder

The reflections after Celtic checked out of Europe two games early have mostly focused on the manager.

Calls for Neil Lennon to leave the club were vociferous even before Thursday night's dismal 4-1 defeat at Sparta Prague.

But one supporter isn't all that bothered about exiting the Europa League with a point after four games.

Hoops fan Pat, calling in to talkSPORT, reckons it's all about 10 In A Row this campaign - and he's confident 95 per cent of his fellow supporters agree with his assertion that he doesn't "give a monkeys" about Europe.

He said: "At the start of the season, nobody gives a monkeys about Europe.

"95 per cent of Celtic fans don't care about Europe.

"We want 10 In A Row, it's as simple as that. We're breaking records every year.

"Europe's just too much, that's all."

Sports Bar co-host Jason Cundy reminded him that current Premiership league leaders Rangers are a game away from qualifying despite also fighting on both front.

"Oh yeah, they're doing well, they're actually doing really well," he responded. "They're calm, I think they're playing like, 'we've got nothing to lose'. But we have."

Asked if he had the same attitude upon exiting the Champions League to Ferencvaros, Pat said: "The money is great and whoever goes through next year, good luck to them. But I'll speak for 95 per cent, I believe that we don't give a monkeys about Europe.

"The thing is, 10 In A Row is the one thing we want."
