Heartbreaking tributes to 19-year-old biker who died in horror crash with combine harvester

The family of a teenager, who died when his motorbike collided with a combine harvester, have paid tribute to him.

Harry Abbey, 19, was killed in the horror crash, which also involved a Ford Fiesta, on July 21. It happened at the junction of Hollins Lane and Watery Lane, in the Winwick area of Warrington, at 11.54am.

Harry, who was riding a black Yamaha motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paying tribute to him, Harry's family said: “Harry Abbey, aged 19, died on Wednesday 21 July following a fatal road traffic accident.

“He lived at home with his Mum, his Dad, and his brother.

“He was so loved and will be truly missed by all his family and friends.

“Harry lived life on his terms, he made friends easily and was true and supportive to each and every one of them.

“His untimely death leaves a gaping hole in all our lives.

Harry's family are being supported by specialist officers.

Cheshire Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have captured relevant dashcam footage.
