Kobe Bryant was coaching his daughter Gianna at the Mamba Cup Tournament just 24 hours before their tragic death.
NBA legend Bryant and his daughter were killed along with seven others, when his private jet crashed into the hillside in Calabasas, California.
The group were believed to be heading to Mamba Academy in Newbury Park for the second day of the tournament.
Haunting images have emerged of Bryant giving tips to the girls' AAU team from the sidelines as he passed on his words of wisdom to the next generation.
His daughter Gigi, 13, is also pictured playing the last shots of a basketball career that promised so much.

Bryant had previously admitted his daughter's interest in basketball had led to him reconnecting with the sport.
“Before Gigi got into basketball, I hardly watched it, but now that she’s into basketball, we watch every night," he said.

“We just had so much fun because it was the first time I was seeing the game through her eyes,” Bryant said.
“It wasn’t me sitting there as an athlete or a player or something like that. … It was her — she was having such a good time.”
Air traffic reports show that the chopper circled for more than 15 minutes before its final, fatal descent around 21 miles (35km) from downtown Los Angeles. An investigation is ongoing.

The chopper is said to have caught fire after going down, as emergency services battled in vain to save those on board.
Bryant regularly used his Sikorsky S-76 helicopter to travel to and from matches at the Staples Centre, the LA Lakers' home stadium.
