Heartbreaking handwritten note left among tributes at tower block where man died

Flowers and tributes were left at the scene where a man fell to his death in Everton.

Emergency services were called to Candia Towers on Jason Street at around 2.25pm on Saturday, March 13, after a man fell from an apartment block.

On Monday, Merseyside Police confirmed that the man had sadly died following the fall.

A police spokesperson said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file has been prepared for the coroner."
