Heartbreak for Midlothian student as she loses diamond bangle on first night out she wore it

A student has been left heartbroken after she lost a diamond bangle on the first night she wore it out in Midlothian.

Helen McCurdy is appealing for help in finding her daughter Morgan's bracelet.

The 19-year-old wore it for the first time to Dalkeith and Woodburn Miners Club on Saturday, February 8.

After taking a taxi back to Rosewell, she noticed it was gone.

It has a distinctive design with two panther heads, diamonds and a gold bangle.

Helen said: "We bought it for her in Doha on a recent trip and she wore it for the first time on Saturday night to Dalkeith & Woodburn Miners Club.

"She remembers having it on in the club as friends admired it.

"She came home by a taxi that her and friends hailed outside the club so they don’t know what taxi company it was.

"She did not have her bangle when she removed her jewellery."
