Family and friends have been left heartbroken after a man was killed when a car ploughed into a tree in Dundee .
Andy King, 26, died at the scene after the motor he was a passenger in crashed on Sunday night.
The 31-year-old driver was seriously injured and rushed to the city's Ninewells Hospital .
Shocked pals took to social media to pay tribute to Andy and offer support to his devastated loved ones.
In an emotional Facebook post Stacey Whyte said: "Sleep tight cousin life is so cruel.
"Gonna miss your crazy messages, fly high up there big man."
Mark Drummond posted: "Sorry to hear this, RIP Andy King, fly high bro, God only takes the best."
And Karleee Lumsden added: "Rest in peace Andy King, so sad."
The investigation into the cause of the crash in Templeton woods at Camperdown Park is ongoing
A Police Scotland spokesman said last night: “Inquiries are continuing and a report is being sent to the procurator fiscal.”
