Dozens of ECHO readers were left "heartbroken" after learning of a young mum's life is to be "cruelly" cut short in devastating circumstances.
Yesterday we reported mum-of-one Amy Howard, from Knowsley, was told she had stage 4 cervical cancer while on maternity leave with her 10 month old son, Finley.
The 28-year-old was told by doctors she has just months to live and, according to close friends, she is living "every mother's greatest nightmare".
Laura Harris and Alisha Thomas, who are colleagues and friends of Amy's, have set up a gofundme page for her and husband, James, to try and help the family.
Since the details were published, many ECHO readers wanted to reach out to Amy and the family, offering their heartfelt condolences.
Tracy Aldred said: "Life is so cruel, this is heartbreaking to read."
Camilla Mansfield wrote: "A beautiful young mum shouldn't be facing this, it's heartbreaking."
Lorraine Kelly added: "Heartbreaking, sending love to this brave mummy."
Laura Mckenna said: "My heart just broke.
"Absolutely devastating, sending love to this brave mummy and her beautiful family."
And Karen Whitehead added: "The most beautiful niece in the world."
Amy was first diagnosed after suffering a second miscarriage in December last year.
Alisha said: "She's got a little boy and was trying for another baby last year, but unfortunately she had one miscarriage in the summer and then they had another miscarriage in December.

"Amy went into hospital, around New Year's Eve, because she was bleeding and thought she had an infection. The hospital did a scan to make sure everything was okay after her recent miscarriage, but what they found was a 5cm tumour in her cervix instead."
Amy was told the cancer was inoperable and incurable, but she could have chemotherapy to prolong her life.
The cancer has since spread to her lymph nodes, pelvis, aorta and neck region.

Alisha and Laura have set up a gofundme page in order to raise funds for the family during this time, after they said they wanted to try and help their friend in any way they could.
Writing on the page, they said: "We wish we could wave a magic wand to help Amy overcome this, and this Go Fund me is the only way we can help give her the greatest gift of (stress-free) time with her family.
"So please, if you could spare anything at all for Amy and her family it would [be] much appreciated.
"It is important for us to say that Amy & James never asked us to do this, but as their friends we are desperately trying to help them as best as we can."
