An elderly Kerry couple have died within one day of one another leaving a family heartbroken.
Patrick and Nora O'Connor passed away on Saturday and Sunday respectively and were both laid to rest in their hometown of Kilkummin in Co Kerry on Tuesday morning.
A heartbreaking post on RIP.ie reads: "Patrick (Pat) and his beloved wife Nora (nee Lynch, late of Ballydaly, Co Cork), died one day apart, Patrick (Pat) on the 20th and Nora on the 21st February 2021.
"Much loved Dad and Mom of Dan (USA), Paudie, Noel and the late Michael. Sadly missed by their family, grandchildren Padraic Seán, Dearbhla, Megan and Adam, daughters-in-law, Nora's sister Kit, the Dineen and O'Leary nieces and nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and their many friends.
"Predeceased by Patrick's sister Rita and Nora's sister Mary and brother Michael."
