Heartbreak as 'beautiful' mum who felt unwell after Haven holiday died 'suddenly'

A mum has suddenly passed away just days after coming home from a family holiday at a Haven resort.

Ashleigh De-Andrade, 31, took unwell last week after returning home to Southport following a weekend away at Haven Park in North Wales with fiancé Jordan Nimmo and three sons Jacob, 12, Noah, 10, and Lewi, three, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The mum of three went for a nap just hours after coming home and woke up that evening with a high temperature. Partner Jordan rushed Ashleigh to hospital, where she suffered from several seizures and was put into a medically induced coma. She remained in the coma for three days, but tragically could not be saved, dying on April 26.

Friend Lauren Guest, 25, says Ashleigh was "absolutely fine" in the weeks before her death. She said: "It was all really quick and sudden so it makes it even more devastating.

"They came back on Sunday after being away with her three boys and partner. She didn't feel too good so she went up to bed for a little sleep.

"Her partner woke her up a few hours later. She was sweating. He took her to hospital to get checked and she had a couple of seizures in hospital."

Lauren says her pal is thought to have suffered from a bleed on the brain and meningitis. She has decided to set up a Gofundme page to support partner Jordan and the children.

Lauren paid tribute to her friend and said Ashleigh talked about her boys all the time. She added that the couple were in the process of planning there wedding before she died.

Lauren said: "I don't even think there's enough words to describe her. She was beautiful inside and out. She'd do absolutely anything for you. She was a happy little soul.

"She was so excited to be a nurse. She was always the one if some of us were struggling [with exam preparation] who said 'come on you can do it.' She was always so positive.

"Her and her partner were getting married in the near future. She had so many plans for when she qualified."
