Alyssa Healy put on a batting masterclass before Nicole Bolton wreaked havoc with the ball to lead the Sydney Sixers to a thumping 44-run WBBL win over the Perth Scorchers at Lilac Hill.

Healy struck an unbeaten 94 off 57 balls as the Sixers amassed a formidable 3-161 on Sunday.

In reply, the Scorchers could only manage 9-117, with Bolton collecting 3-11 from her two overs.

Bolton snared the key scalps of Chamari Athapaththu (0), Chloe Piparo (29), and Marizanne Kapp (two) among her surprise haul, while Lauren Cheatle (2-13 off four overs) and Radha Yadav (2-22) were also crucial.

Beth Mooney (30 off 29 balls) top scored for the Scorchers, but the home side's slow start to the run chase meant they were always facing an uphill battle.

Healy was the standout performer, with the national team star plundering 12 fours and two sixes in her blistering knock.

The 31-year-old shared a 101-run opening stand with Ellyse Perry (31 off 39 balls), but she ran out of time to score a century.

Healy started her WBBL campaign with a hot 57, but the pressure was on her in Perth after she had returned scores of three, 14, five, and one in her four most recent knocks.

The wicketkeeper-batter blasted her way back into form against the Scorchers, with the Sixers' third win of the season moving them back into the finals mix.
