A newborn baby has died of coronavirus just 13 days after coming into the world, making them one of the youngest people to pass away from the bug in the UK.
The tot was described by NHS England has healthy with no underlying condition before tragically losing their life on Thursday June 18, according to The Mirror.
It is believed the youngest person in Britain to die from Covid-19 is three-day-old Coolio Carl Justin Morgan.
His mother contracted the virus while pregnant.
The youngster, from Wales, passed away on May 5 after being transferred to a hospital in Swansea, an inquest heard last month.
Maternal Covid-19 was listed as a secondary cause of death for Coolio. The primary cause was given as severe hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy after his brain was starved of blood and oxygen.
The 13-day-old infant's death was announced on Thursday as the UK's coronavirus hospital death toll increased by 69 - the lowest rise on a Thursday during the lockdown - to 32,653.
England reported 62 new deaths, Wales had five, Scotland recorded two and Northern Ireland reported no new fatalities.
It is the lowest increase on a Thursday since 43 deaths were announced on March 19 in the week before the lockdown began.
The daily increases on recent Thursdays were 95 on June 11, 133 on June 4, 213 on May 28, 240 on May 21 and 256 on May 14.
The largest rise on a Thursday was 891 on April 9, when the UK was in the peak of its outbreak.
The Government's official toll of 42,153 fatalities in all settings, including care homes, will be updated later.
The latest data based on death certificates mentioning Covid-19 shows the true toll is now more than 53,000, including suspected cases.
