Healthy kebab restaurant to open in Nottingham city centre

A new healthy kebab restaurant is opening in Nottingham city centre. Deutscher Döner is taking over the former Tea Trolley cafe and shop, in Chapel Bar, which used to be run by Mencap and South Nottingham College.

The independent business is expected to open its doors next month.

Jack Shakespeare, of FHP Property Consultants, which let the building, said: “Chapel Bar, Long Row and the surrounding vicinity already has a fantastic catering offering and I’m sure this will be welcomed to the mix by the people of Nottingham.

"Along with adding value to the upper floors by converting them to residential we have achieved a great result for our client here and are now marketing the freehold investment.

“This letting continues to demonstrate that there is vitality in the thriving independent market across the region and despite the national press headlines damning the high street, we are still seeing new entrepreneurial businesses open across the city.”
