Healthy baby boy delivered at side of busy road by hero DFB emergency crew in North Dublin

A new baby joined the Dublin Fire Brigade baby club last night after a hero ambulance crew delivered a baby on the roadside.

Emergency services were flagged down on the North Circular Road by a motorist on Wednesday evening.

And the quick-thinking crews sprang into action and helped deliver a happy and healthy baby boy!

A DFB tweet read: "The latest member of the #DFBaby club was born on Monday.

"Flagged down on the NCR by a motorist making their way to the maternity hospital, our North Strand based ambulance and fire EMS crew from Phibsborough helped mum deliver a healthy baby boy.

"Congratulations!"
