Health warning issued as Disney's Hocus Pocus 2 trailer released

Almost three decades since the original Hocus Pocus there has now been a trailer released for the sequel.

Hocus Pocus 2 is set to hit Disney Plus later this month as the Black Flame Candle is lit, resurrecting the three 17th-century Sanderson sisters. The sisters will be played once more by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy and will be available to watch from September 30.

The first look at the trailer was released at the D23 Expo 2022 over the past few days. However, it comes with a health warning from an Epilepsy awareness group.

Taking to Instagram, SoCal Epilepsy shared a post warning of the dangers of the short clip. They said that people with photosensitivity should take care while watching.

The post read: "Photosensitivity warning. It's been brought to my attention the official trailer for this movie that just hit Youtube/the internet has some pretty intense flashing in it with NO warning before it that potentially will cause issues for those that are photosensitive.

"Stay safe watching the trailer. It is probably a good indicator that the movie will have this as well."

A Disney+ Original movie, “Hocus Pocus 2” will premiere September 30, 2022, exclusively on Disney+.
