The Health Lottery is celebrating the first anniversary of its Mega Raffle after dishing out almost £3m to winners.
It will mark the milestone tomorrow, as the 12th Mega Raffle winner is crowned.
Since launching in August 2018, £2.75m has been awarded to winners across the length and breadth of Great Britain.
Celebrations began in Wakefield with the Health Lottery’s first quarter-millionaire, retired police officer Mick Aston, 70.
At the time of his win, he said: "I was in total shock, it's taken a while to sink in. Actually, I don't think it has sunk it yet. I am so happy."
Mr Aston, who lost his wife a few years ago, planned to spend the £250,000 on a new accessible home.
He said: "The money is really going to change my life. I think I am going to buy a bungalow, that would be brilliant."
The wins continued all the way to Scotland with doting grandfather, Grainger Whitson scooping the £250,000 prize.

Martin Ellice, Joint Managing Director at The Health Lottery said: “We offer our warmest congratulations to all our winners in the past year.
"We can’t wait to crown our next winner and change another person’s life with a quarter of a million pounds.
“You still have until 7.45pm today to buy your Health Lottery tickets for tonight’s draw and receive automatic entry into tomorrow’s raffle.”
Every £1 Health Lottery ticket bought, earns an automatic entry into a Mega Raffle draw.
The Health Lottery’s Mega Raffle guarantees a cash prize of £250,000 every month.
Funds raised through The Health Lottery are changing and improving lives, with over £110 million raised for good causes across Great Britain to date.
The Health Lottery is an independent British lottery scheme.
It manages 12 regional and country lotteries across Great Britain.
Each month, the money raised is allocated to one of these areas in rotation. This means that across the year, every area of England, Scotland and Wales gets a share of the funds raised.
The 12 regional and country lotteries are run for one specific purpose: to tackle health inequalities in their respective areas.
Over £110 million has been raised so far. Every £1 ticket bought helps raise even more.
You can buy Health Lottery tickets online at www.healthlottery.co.uk or from more than 32,000 local retailers.
