A woman on TikTok may be a key witness to a murder after her neighbor supposedly came home to find his girlfriend had shot herself. The problem is the guy apparently hadn’t left his apartment all day according to the woman.
“Naffyjaffy” AKA Nafisa, shared a video to TikTok in which she explained that she had just heard her neighbor shouting and screaming after coming home and discovering the dead body of his girlfriend. “The person that lived right here,” she says, pointing to the wall next to her, “just ran out of the apartment screaming that his girlfriend shot herself in the head and was laying in the living room.”
However, Nafisa’s walls are paper thin and she can hear practically everything. One damning detail that she noticed was that she would normally hear the neighbor’s front door open and shut. The reverberations from its closing often resulted in the door in her apartment moving a little bit. However, Nafisa claims that didn’t happen.
She also says she never heard a gunshot which you’d expect to be pretty loud. She could even hear the police officers that showed up on the scene discuss how it looks like a homicide.
From everything she’s describing it sounds like this could be a potential murder case and she could be the star witness.

Many questioned whether Nafis should have posted this video considering the severity of the crime. One viewer advised her to consider deleting the post warning “Both vids will be used as evidence. It can and likely will impact your safety.” Others worried that the neighbor could potentially see the video and attempt to harm her, after all, he may not have any charges against him yet so could very well be a free man.
A few days later Nafisa returned for an update although she was much more tight-lipped this time around. “Long story short, I cannot say anything,” she states at the start of the video, she avoids speculating on the matter but judging by how careful she’s being with her words it’s safe to say the police are likely investigating and she doesn’t want to say anything that could affect the investigation or put herself in danger.
The situation is so serious that Nafisa can’t even respond to comments or like any comments sharing theories. Most of the commenters suggested that she break her lease on the apartment and move immediately which, given the circumstances, probably isn’t an overreaction. Whatever the case hopefully she can give a full account of what went down some time in the future when everything has calmed down.
