'He wants' - Chelsea transfer claim made as former Nottingham Forest defender speaks out

Chelsea are being blocked from signing former Nottingham Forest defender Anel Ahmedhodzic, according to the player's father.

The Blues are said to be interested in 21-year-old Ahmedhodzic, who left Forest last year and signed for Malmo.

But his dad, Mirsad Ahmedhodzic, claims the youngster's agent Markus Rosenberg is blocking a deal, said to be for £6.9m.

And he also claims Italian agent, Federico Pastorello, has been in talks with several clubs across Europe.

He told Sportbladet: "He (Rosenberg) has told Marina (Granovskaia) at Chelsea that Anel is not going there.

"He wants to go abroad after the season finishes.

"Markus hasn’t arranged this, he doesn’t have the contacts. I have tried to inform Markus that Pastorello wants to cooperate with him."

The former Forest player responded to his dad's comments.

"I can start by saying that I am very disappointed," Ahmedhodzic told Kvallsposten.

"To write such things on social media and call other people idiots, not to support me."
