Officers believe they have finally got their man after an offender spent three months on the run.
Police in Rochdale say they have been tracking down a man in his 30s over a number of alleged offences since last October.
Greater Manchester Police says the man was wanted for repeatedly breaching a restraining order and a non-molestation order - which prevents threatening behaviour towards an individual.
Having managed to avoid arrest for three months, police finally tracked the man down on Wednesday (January 12).
The man is currently in police custody and, if found to have breached the orders, risks being sent back to prison.
In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson for GMP Rochdale said: "After a three-month investigation, a wanted man has been found by police and detained.
"A man in his 30s has been wanted by officers in Rochdale since October 2021, following allegations he breached a non-molestation and restraining order numerous times resulting in him being recalled to prison.
"Officers from the district intelligence unit and tasking team have been following numerous lines of enquiry and leads to track down the individual.
"He has managed to evade officers for over three months, however on Wednesday, police were alerted to a sighting of him and after a foot pursuit, the individual was detained.
"He currently remains in custody."
