'He's stunk the place out' - Arsenal fans will agree with Alexis Sanchez verdict

Former Premier League chairman Simon Jordan has slammed Alexis Sanchez for his time at Manchester United.

Sanchez moved from Arsenal to Old Trafford in January 2018 as he signed a four-and-a-half year contract worth £14m a year.

However he has failed to shine at Man United with just five goals in his 45 apearances and he could be set for a move away.

Reports suggest that Inter Milan are ready to offer him a way out of Manchester with the Serie A looking to sign him on a loan deal with a view to a £15m permanent move.

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has accused Sanchez of a lack of effort at United suggesting he has 'stunk the place out' at Old Trafford.

“The fact of the matter is, Alexis Sanchez has stunk the place out," Jordan told talkSPORT.

“He has stunk the place out, and I don’t think his attitude has been spot on either.

“You don’t go from a big-time player and game-changer at Arsenal to being a player who is suddenly being weighed down by the expectation of you.

“You wanted this kind of money, and with that kind of money comes expectation and then subsequent to that comes performances.

“Where is the player in all of this? Why isn’t the player doing his job?

“We’re talking about a player who isn’t lifting a leg and is getting £25million a year! It’s lunacy!”
