'He's not finished' - Jurgen Klopp's agent breaks silence on Liverpool future

The agent of Jurgen Klopp has addressed recent speculation surrounding his client’s next move as Liverpool manager, amid suggestions that he could leave the club in the near future.

Results and performances, combined with news that Germany boss Joachim Low is set to depart this summer, have led to rumours in some quarters that Klopp could be poised to depart.

Klopp, along with a host of other names including RB Leipzig’s Julian Nagelsmann, have been listed as potential successors to Low in some reports.

The Reds manager was quick to quash those suggestions in a press conference earlier this week, but even so the speculation remains.

It should be remembered that Klopp is under contract at Liverpool until the summer of 2024 and has seen out his previous agreements at Mainz and Borussia Dortmund, something he himself pointed out when responding to the rumours.

Now, Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has spoken about his client’s future at Anfield, insisting that his time as Liverpool manager is far from over.

“He's not finished with his work in Liverpool,” Kosicke told German publication Sport1.

“There is no back door open because Jurgen still has a three-year contract with the Reds.

"He made this very clear so that there would be no room for speculation.”
