'He's finished!' - Arsenal fans can't believe what Alexandre Lacazette did against Tottenham

Arsenal and Alexandre Lacazette had a North London Derby to forget on Sunday afternoon.

First-half goals from Son Heung-min and Harry Kane ensured the points and bragging rights remained in N17 and piled on the misery for the Gunners who are now without a Premier League win in four games.

Furthermore, Arsenal 's struggles in front of goal continued although manager Mikel Arteta was encouraged by the overall performance if not the final result.

"In terms of the performance they did everything I asked them to do. Absolutely everything. We played the way I believe we had to believe this game," Arteta said in his post-match press conference.

Vote for your Arsenal Footballer of the Year 2020

"You look at all the stats, they're in our favour but at the end of the day it's about putting the ball in the box.

"But at the end of the day we have to score the goals and when they had a half chance they scored, and at the moment we haven't. To build something you need results.

"I take a lot of positives for the way we played, when we come here in this moment and play with the personality, the courage, the passion, the energy and the belief the boys showed.

"At the end it's a football match and you have to win it, and we lost again today."

Arteta's decision to name an attack-minded team ultimately didn't pay off with Lacazette, Willian and Bukayo Saka not managing to provide adequate service for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to net from open play.

However, it's not just the result that has angered a section of supporters.

Lacazette and Granit Xhaka were given the task of getting the game started from kick-off.

But after the former received the ball in the centre-circle, he was immediately closed down by Kane and subsequently conceded possession by kicking the ball out of play for a Spurs throw-in.

This was spotted by Arsenal fans on social media and it's safe to say they weren't too impressed.
