'He's done it again' - Arsenal fans react to Arsene Wenger's role in England World Cup win

England secured a dominant win over New Zealand in Saturday's Rugby World Cup semi-final to progress through to their first final in 12 years.

A try from Manu Tuilagi in the second minute and a later penalty put Eddie Jones' side 10-0 up at half-time, bettering even Leicester City's win over Southampton on Friday night.

Despite an attempted fight back in the second half from the All Blacks, England held on to secure a place in next weekend's final with a 19-7 win.

And following the match, French journalist Christian Jeanpierre revealed some insider information on RMC on the England rugby team's preparation for the World Cup.

Arsenal v Crystal Palace match preview

He stated that former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had spent a day with the English team in the build up to Saturday morning's match.

Gunners fans were naturally quick to jump on the message, noting that it was no coincidence Wenger had played a part in the success against the fearsome All Blacks.

Arsenal also sent their congratulations to England star Maro Itoje, who played a big role in the win against the tournament's favourites.

England will be joined in the final by either Wales or South Africa, who face each other on Sunday morning in Japan.
