'He's coming!' - Arsenal fans confident over £50m transfer after three-word Instagram message

Some Arsenal fans are convinced that a deal is edging closer for Ben White.

In a decision that took many by surprise, the Brighton and Hove Albion defender emerged as the Gunners' main transfer target with David Luiz's departure leaving them a little short in that area.

And last month, Arsenal's interest in White developed into two concrete offers.

However, their opening bid of £40million bid was rejected by the Seagulls, as was their second offer, but Sky Sports have reported this week that the north London outfit are expected to return with a third bid amid talk of a £50m valuation.

What may have worried Arsenal fans about this deal falling through was it was reported that Manchester City had entered the race to land the England international, whilst Everton were also said to be keen after appointing Rafa Benitez as their new manager.

Furthermore, there had been suggestions that Chelsea were ready to battle their London rivals for White's signature.

However, as reported by football.london last week, a deal for White to join the Gunners is all but complete and is expected to be finalised after Euro 2020.

With that said, Arsenal fans have found another reason to be quite confident of this £50m transfer.

As spotted on Reddit and Twitter, an Instagram post of White from football.london's Chris Wheatley has emerged with a three-word message that reads: "He's coming home."

This has, as one would expect, garnered a big response on social media.
