'He's alive!' - Spurs fans overjoyed as Pochettino springs a surprise in starting XI vs Everton

Mauricio Pochettino, as expected, has made a number of changes to Spurs' starting XI for this afternoon's final league game of the season against Everton.

Following the sensational evening in Amsterdam on Wednesday evening where the Lilywhites scored a stoppage-time winner against Ajax to set up a Champions League final against Liverpool, the team can this afternoon ensure they are in the competition next season providing they don't completely collapse.

Arsenal need an eight-goal swing to go in their favour but they face a tricky game against Burnley at Turf Moor, while Spurs would need to lose big against the Toffees if they were to somehow miss out on the top four.

With Fernando Llorente, Erik Lamela and Ben Davies coming into the team after coming off the bench in Amsterdam, Kyle Walker-Peters is also handed a rare start after only appearing in nine games for the team so far this season.

The 22-year-old, who last featured in the 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town last month, has seen Juan Foyth move ahead of him in the pecking order in recent weeks.

Amid talk that Kieran Trippier could potentially move to Napoli in the summer, Walker-Peters needs to impress his manager if he wants to feature a lot more in 2019/20.

The news has gone done extremely well with Spurs supporters and they've hailed the decision on Twitter.
