Tartan Army fan branded 'wee fa**y' by mum after falling in London fountain wearing designer shoes

A Scots mum branded her Tartan Army son 'a wee f****' after he was caught on camera falling into the William Shakespeare fountain in Leicester Square.

The unnamed man, from Possil in Glasgow, was one of 20,000 fans who have travelled to London to watch the Scotland v England Euro 2020 match later today.

Videos show Tartan Army fans doing the conga, singing along to 'Yes Sir, We Can Boogie' and pouring fairy liquid into the William Shakespeare fountain in Leicester Square.

His mother wasn't impressed. (UGC)

But one unfortunate video caught the unknown Scot taking a tumble straight into the fountain as fed up officers look on, reports Glasgow Live.

Opting to save face and remain anonymous, once he was in the fountain he decided the water was warm.... and dove back in.

The cameraman caught the moment his red soled designer shoes went up in the air as he hit the water.

(We should note that it is not illegal to frolic in fountains, but it is heavily advised against and in some cases can carry a fine).

His mum told Glasgow Live: " He’s a wee f****y. This is a boy who is supposed to be going to uni to study for a degree. I’m not sure where he gets his craziness from."
