Jake Paul’s fans absolutely love his response to Tyson Fury after the heavyweight champion warned Americans to “lock up their women”.
Tyson has been playing a big part in the promotion of his brother Tommy’s fight with Paul in Florida next month, with the pair set to meet on December 18.
The Gypsy King has been helping out his brother in training, as well as appearing with him during press conferences and sending messages to Paul during the build-up.
Fury is certainly no stranger to promoting big fights following his epic trilogy with Deontay Wilder, and he’s stoked the fires ahead of Tommy’s meeting with the YouTube star.
Tyson previously joked during an interview: "You know when Big T [Fury] is in town, they're not safe.
"Lock up your women and hide your men when we're in Florida. Jake Paul keep your girlfriend on a leash."
Paul has now issued a response to the comments with a video on TikTok, with the help of his partner Julia Rose.
The video shows Paul apparently locking his partner in a suitcase while panicking that “Big T is coming to town”.
He then carries the suitcase while muttering: "He is going to f*** everybody, you need to hide in this suitcase, you will be in here for a little bit."
Video below contains strong language.
Rose asks: “Doesn’t he have a wife?” before Paul drops the suitcase onto a bin, asking: “Babe, are you okay?”
Paul then throws the suitcase across the room, with the video captioned “at least she’s safe now…”
The video has gained plenty of responses from Paul’s fans, who have lauded him for his handling of the Fury family ahead of the fight.
The video comes after Paul called for Tommy to hand over his purse for next month’s fight to his brother, claiming that Tyson was promoting the fight more than he was.
“I think Tyson should be paid Tommy’s purse because he’s promoting the fight more than Tommy is," Paul said at a press conference.
"It’s nice to have somebody on the other side of the promotion who actually has a following because I’ve been promoting all of these fights by myself. Finally Tyson Fury steps up to the plate and does some promoting.
"I’m sick and tired of carrying promotions by myself so thank you Tyson, I tip my hat to you. But I’m going to steal all of your fans. I’m going to knock out your brother and be on my merry way.
"Another payday. Another speed bump on the way to becoming a world champion and the biggest prize fighter in the world."
