Manchester City fans have been expressing their delight after the club announced the signing of Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United.
Phillips, who made a real mark at Euro 2020 with England last summer, arrives on a six-year deal. The announcement of his arrival came less than two hours after it was announced that Gabriel Jesus would be leaving City to join Arsenal.
Speaking on his arrival at the Etihad Stadium, Phillips said: "I am absolutely delighted to have joined Manchester City. City have again proved to be the best team in the country with an amazing squad and a manager in Pep Guardiola who is rightly considered to be the finest in the world.
