'He'll go to Manchester United or City for £100m' - Bristol City fans react as Bournemouth beat Liverpool and Arsenal to Lloyd Kelly

Bristol City fans have been reacting to the news that Bournemouth signed Lloyd Kelly.

The 20-year-old versatile defender has moved to the Premier League after the Robins agreed a 'club record' fee for him - initial reports suggested a fee of £13m was agreed but, with the Robins having sold Jonathan Kodjia to Aston Villa for £15m, it should be higher.

After Kelly vied for the left-back spot with Jay Dasilva this season, Robins fans say it is now vital they sign the Chelsea loan player.

Mark Trask: I'd say 13 mil is good business.

Chris Wilks: £13 million for our second-choice left-back and an unproven centre-back is a decent bit of business. Now get Dasilva and Kalas on perm deals.

Alistair Durden: A £13millon move to Bournemouth for Lloyd Kelly is a good deal for all. A club where he’s more likely to play and develop, and where Bristol City can capitalise on any sell-on fee if he develops into the top player many people believe he will become.

Ben: As long as Bristol City now sign Jay Dasilva it’s a great deal for both parties.

Stu Parsons: Gutted to read that Lloyd Kelly looks to be off! £13m is good money for us & Eddie Howe will be good for him so it’s a good deal for everyone. Wish him all the best if he moves on.

Aaron Boland: Hoping we invest the £13m we’ve got for Lloyd Kelly back in the squad. Funds should be used to get Kalas and Dasilva over the line. Twenty goal a season striker needed too.

Gary Bartlett: 13 million is unbelievable! I hope we put the money back into improving the team.

Liam M: Excellent move for LK as likely to get game time at Bournemouth, even better money for us if theres some add ons as well. Watched him for England U21's recently and compared to lads of the same age he's a beast. Going to be some player!

Matthew Lucas: Kelly will be immense in 4/5 years and probably go to United or City for 100mil

Ryan Foxton: Why would you sell your best players? Madness really.
