He left school at 15 with no GCSEs and now runs a £30m Salford-based fashion business - behind the scenes at In The Style

A new BBC documentary will look into Greater Manchester's prominent position in the demanding world of fast fashion.

Viewers will go behind the scenes of one of Britain's biggest and fastest-growing online fashion brands - In The Style.

The six-part documentary, Breaking Fashion, explores the day-to-day decisions made by the multi-million pound company to be the first to come up with the latest looks and to launch them before their business rivals.

Set in their Salford offices, the series follows CEO Adam Frisby and his young team as they navigate six-figure budgets, international production lines and pressurised photo shoots.

Adam, 32, left school at the age of 15 with no GCSEs.

But in just five years, he has self-built the £30million turnover company.

The entrepreneur was one of the first to cotton on to the trend of supplying wardrobes to fashion-lovers who want to look like the influencers and TV stars they follow.

Episodes will show how their collaborations with the likes of Dani Dyer, Lottie Tomlinson, Emily Atack and Chessie King transform from the early design stages to shoppers' virtual baskets.

It'll explore glamorous celebrity photo shoots and speedy sale launches, where the style-conscious can then have the latest outfits delivered to their door in a matter of hours.

The success or failure of a collection is instant and each episode will picture Adam anxiously following how fast - or not - the sales come at the end of each release.

The first episode will air on BBC One at 10.35pm on Wednesday, September 18.

It will also launch to BBC Three as a box set on the same day.
