'He is really is different class at this level' - Nottingham Forest fans heap praise on star striker

A 3-2 win for Nottingham Forest over bogey side Blackburn Rovers was the perfect way to see in the New Year at the City Ground.

Having been 2-0 up and then 3-1 to the good, Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds conspired to allow Rovers back into things on two separate occasions, but they managed to see out what proved to be their third straight Championship win.

Lewis Grabban’s brace and a fine strike from Joe Lolley ensured Lamouchi’s men scored more than one at home for the first time since a 3-0 success over Derby County in the Carabao Cup back in August.

The Reds have dealt impressively with their five-game winless run in December, before going on to beat Hull and Wigan before Rovers, and that form has left fans feeling buoyant going into the January transfer window.

Forest are expected to be busy throughout the month as the Frenchman looks to give his squad a welcome boost heading into the final stages of the season.
